How do you challenge yourself to improve your creative work?
I'm inspired by the new stylists at work. They have breathed new life into what I do. I learn from them questioning me and from the ability to share what I know with them. Their drive, focus and fresh take on the industry makes me want to stay current.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
I'm inspired by my family. I want my daughters to see that you can be successful in many ways. I want them to watch me balance various aspects of my life. I want them to know that they can do whatever they want, as long as they focus, work hard and learn from their mistakes and do not make excuses. It's a work in progress, but that's my goal at least!

3 Pet peeves you have
1. Listening to people eat.
2. Having to make multiple trips from the car to the house with groceries
3. People who can't take ownership for their mistakes (everyone messes up, it's how we learn. Own it and improve.)

What’s your worst hair experience?
I had long, beautiful, blonde, curly hair when I was small. I hated it because I was such a tomboy. I begged my Mom to let me cut it off and rocked a solid Joe Dirt mullet for years. I loved it though.
